Privacy Policy

Red has no accounts, no servers, and no telemetry. It does not phone home, track usage, or send your data anywhere. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

Connection details - hostnames, ports, usernames, and any credentials you save - are stored locally on your machine so you can reconnect quickly.

These are never transmitted to us or any third party. Red only ever connects to the databases you point it at, directly from your computer.

The schemas you browse, the SQL you write, and the rows you fetch are processed locally and held only for the lifetime of your session, plus an optional local query history you control. None of it leaves your device.

The desktop app contains no analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or tracking pixels. We do not build a profile of you and have no way to identify individual users.

This marketing site is served as static pages and sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability, as is typical for any website.

If this policy changes, the updated date above will change with it. Material changes will be noted in the project's release notes.
